Healing? Lofty goal. Blog about. Sure, why not! I don’t know how to do this and yet MORNING by MORNINGNEW MERCIES I SEE!

Three months ago I was given alarming news. Nodules. Biopsy. News that thrust me into a whole new lifestyle and set my feet on a heal-thy eating and living path.

My hope is to share heal-thy recipes I’ve made along the way! Many of them are Vegan, Dairy Free, Gluten Free, Meatless and Sugar Free. Southern Comfort Foods were the most exciting makeovers! These recipes have been tested and retested on the most skeptical dairy-loving, meat-eating, sugar-craving, gluten-swooning and super cute kiddos and hubby…with much success!

I lost 17 lbs in 2 months by trading in a “semi- healthy” menu (gluten and sugar restricted, full dairy) for a menu that brought LIFE. Whole foods in every meal. Mounds of veggies. Quality meat. Mostly organic. The challenge of trying new recipes and making them taste amazing gave me wind in my sail.

Now to blog to share them with YOU! I hope you enjoy them as much as we have.
